Leadership
We are very pleased to announce that we have hired Jacob Baccus as our Outreach Pastor.  He will be developing a community of younger adults to meet together both through social media and in person to deepen their spiritual lives, connect with each other and pursue social and environmental justice.  For more information and to be a part of this group, please contact Jacob on Instagram @fccverona.

Marge joined First Congregational Church in 1986 and has been active ever since in the church, Association, Conference and National Settings of the United Church of Christ, including service as the denomination’s research director for 6 years.  She is a co-founder of Bridge of Faith.  Her interests include researching religion and health and disability issues, reading, travel and spending time with her husband, Doug Taylor and step-daughter Heather.

Virginia, or Ginnie as she is known, has been a member of our Church since 1966 when she moved to this area.  She has been a volunteer for many duties, including being on the committee that started the church's first nursery school.  The church was a positive influence in raising our two sons. 

Pam is a retired Montessori teacher who serves as both Secretary for the Church Council and Financial Secretary.  She enjoys spending time with her son Richard, also an active church member and her cat Barney, who prefers sleeping in on Sundays.  She also serves on the Steering Committee for Connect!, our outreach project to younger adults in the West Essex area.
